Jupiter - Beyond The Infinite Rumours has it that director Stanley Kubrick had his eyes set on using segments of "Atom Heart Mother" for his 2001: A Space Oddysey. This obviously never happened. Years later a man in America realised that another Pink Floyd album played nicely to the pictures of 2001s ending. There was a synth between "Echoes" and the mindboggling journey into the monolith. |
